Welcome to BalancePoint Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic (“BalancePoint”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), located in Bandra West, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (https://balancepoint.in), online booking system, workshops, and all acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and related wellness services provided by us.

By accessing our website, booking an appointment, or availing any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website or book services. By using our services, you represent that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Minors may only receive treatment with the consent and accompaniment of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Services Offered

BalancePoint provides acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine therapies, consultations, workshops, and related wellness services. All treatments are provided by qualified practitioners. Our services are intended to support natural healing and wellness and are not a substitute for conventional medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice.

3. Appointments and Booking

  • Appointments can be booked through our website, phone, email, or in person.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during booking.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our sole discretion.
  • Appointment times are subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred time.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

  • You must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without charge.
  • Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice, or no-shows, may result in a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the session cost.
  • Consultation or booking fees are generally non-refundable once the appointment is confirmed.
  • In exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergency), we may consider rescheduling at our discretion. Refunds, if any, will be decided case-by-case.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., practitioner illness). In such cases, we will offer an alternative slot or a full refund where applicable.

5. Payments and Fees

  • All fees are payable in Indian Rupees (₹).
  • Payments can be made via cash, UPI, card, or approved online payment gateways.
  • We do not store complete credit/debit card details on our servers.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price at the time of booking will apply.
  • GST (Goods and Services Tax) will be charged as applicable under Indian law.

6. Medical Disclaimer and Informed Consent

  • Acupuncture and TCM treatments are generally safe when performed by qualified practitioners, but they may involve minor side effects such as temporary bruising, soreness, fatigue, or light-headedness.
  • You acknowledge that results vary from person to person and no guarantees or warranties are made regarding the outcome of any treatment.
  • We strongly recommend that you consult your allopathic/primary healthcare physician before starting any new treatment, especially if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, bleeding disorder, or any serious medical condition.
  • Our practitioners will obtain your informed consent before commencing treatment. By proceeding with treatment, you release BalancePoint and its practitioners from any liability arising from known or unknown risks associated with acupuncture/TCM.

Important: Our services are complementary and supportive. They do not replace professional medical care. In case of a medical emergency, please contact a hospital or emergency services immediately.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BalancePoint, its owners, practitioners, and staff shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our website or services, including but not limited to:

  • Any adverse reaction or outcome from treatment
  • Loss of data or profits
  • Any act or omission by third-party service providers
    Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on balancepoint.in (text, images, logos, treatment descriptions, etc.) is the property of BalancePoint or its licensors and is protected by Indian copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Engage in any unlawful activity while using our services
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten our staff or other clients
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

Violation of these Terms may result in refusal of service and/or legal action.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., payment gateways or informational resources). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of such sites.
